In this project we claimed an attic left unfinished by the home developer. During the COVID lockdown, this young and growing family realized they needed to expand their space; but this had to serve several functions, a playroom, a TV room, a guest suite and an office. By adding a new window and natural maple hardwood flooring, we brightened up the space considerably. The airiness is contrasted by dark blue/gray built-ins and bathroom cabinetry, and the bedroom suite can be separated from the living area by the barn doors.
